This idea of establishing a high quality school in Hue by combining the world’s education essence and Vietnamese traditional values has been long dreamt up, and shared between the founders. It has also been encouraged by the needs arising among enthusiastic parents who want to make the best investment in education and training for their children’s future right in Hue, but still do not know how to realize it.

During five years studying in the UK and now a graduate from Cambridge University, I have had the chance to learn, develop and do research in and about one of the most advanced education systems. With a firm foundation created in Vietnam, with all those excellent experience gained in the UK, I have come to understand that favourable conditions should be created and thorough preparations need to be done here in Vietnam if a student is to be able to adapt well to and thrive in an international learning environment. The journey has to be started early and the child should be adequately prepared to breed confidence, to gain maturity, and to acquire learning and life skills in order to fly high later in their life. One of the first essential building blocks, I believe, is the ability to use English fluently, in both social life and academic world.

I have always harboured that burning desire to share those ideas, valuable experience and useful lessons in the hope to contribute a modest part to the education of Hue City. And, now it is really ‘at the right time, in the right place, and with the right person’ for such a long-nourished idea to be transformed to reality: IDEA International School is established.

The IDEA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL includes in itself nursery, kindergarten and primary education, with a dual program designed for Vietnamese and foreign students, complying with Vietnamese law and adhering to the highest international standards. IDEA aims to provide best conditions to help children develop their personality, broaden their knowledge, improve their physical health and acquire and practise life skills. Its English-speaking environment helps children to develop as well as their peers in other best schools in the country and in the world.
